Tim began drumming at 9 years old when a family friend gifted him a 5-piece natural wood Ludwig jazz kit. With no formal training he began to mimic his favorite 90’s records from Green Day to Reel Big Fish in his childhood home in East Hampton, Long Island. Together with his older brother they formed their first band and played in a number of backyard shows and house party performances.

After high school, Tim moved to New York to pursue his career in pop music and drumming. By 19 he had toured the US and Scandinavia with Brooklyn’s The Natural History. The following years took him on several US and European jaunts with various groups, including SXSW and a few Canadian festivals, establishing him in the NYC indie pop scene. In 2012 he was asked to join New York native Darwin Deez for his sophomore album world tour. They went as far as Australia in the seven months of consistent touring, playing in major festivals such as Reading/Leeds, Melt, Splendour in the Grass, Hurricane and Positivus. Years later the band is going strong and a third album had been released and toured behind.

When not on the road you can find Tim residing in Seattle, consistently gigging and searching for new and exciting projects.
